The Ludlow Typograph

The Ludlow Typograph is a machine for casting type similar to the Linotype or Intertype machines except that the matrices are set by hand into a special composing stick and the sizes available range from 6pt to 96pt. It casts a "slug" with a 6pt or 12pt body with the type on top.

Paekakariki Press can cast slugs of type to order in the faces and sizes shown below. The examples of each face come from the Ludlow One Line Specimens booklet.
