Roger Huddle was born in Walthamstow and left school at the age of fifteen to spend six years as an apprentice compositor in the print industry. Qualifying in 1967, he soon found these historic skills were becoming obsolete and so became a graphic designer. He has since pursued his love of poetry, art and photography, first at Birkbeck University and then at Norwich School of Art and Design where he obtained his MA in Writing the Visual.
Working on this collection with Paekakariki Press marks his return to the compositor’s frame in over 50 years.
