Family Matters

This anthology presents a third
volume of poetry from Dark Angels,
an organisation dedicated to
personal development through
writing. Family Matters grew out of a
theme suggested to writers in the
Dark Angels Circle, a group that
meets online quarterly to read, hear
and support each other’s writing.
From the theme of parent/child
relationships came a rich stream of
poetry, and those poems form the
basis for this volume, to which have
been added new poems from writers
associated with Dark Angels. The
poems deal with all aspects of
family life, seen from the differing
perspectives of those in the family
network. The anthology particularly
features the work of Galen O’Hanlon
who writes about his own parents
and forebears as well as his own
children.
